This is a high-end smart power switch with load dump and reverse battery protection, negative voltage clamp at output, short-circuit protection, current limitation, thermal shutdown, diagnostic feedback, open load detection, CMOS compatible input, electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, ground loss and Vbb loss protection, overvoltage protection and other functions. The PROFET® BTS 432 E2 is an N‑channel vertical power FET with integrated charge pump, CMOS‑compatible input and diagnostic feedback. It provides load‑dump, reverse‑battery, short‑circuit, over‑voltage, under‑voltage and ESD protection for 12 V and 24 V DC loads, eliminating the need for external components in many applications.
