About this manual

The SH69P25/P23/P20B EVB is an evaluation board used to develop and test programs for the SH69P25, SH69P23 and SH69P20B chips. It can operate in two configurations: ICE mode, where the board connects to a SH66xx ICE motherboard, and stand‑alone mode, where the board runs independently with an external EPROM.

The document explains the programming workflow (assemble with uasm66, split with convert.exe, write the two 8‑bit files to EPROMs and install them on the board), details the jumper and switch settings for power selection, clock source, and optional functions such as stack‑overflow protection, low‑voltage reset and watchdog, and describes the LED indicators for power, HALT and STOP states.
