L6566A is a multi-mode controller for switch mode power supplies (SMPS) with PFC front-end. It features selectable multi-mode operation, on-board 700V high-voltage start-up, advanced light load management, low quiescent current, adaptive UVLO, etc.
The L6566A controller supports both fixed‑frequency and quasi‑resonant operation for offline flyback converters with a front‑end PFC stage. It provides programmable oscillator settings, line‑feedforward, burst‑mode at light load and a range of protection features such as OVP, OCP, brownout and adaptive UVLO.
