About this manual

The ADuC814 MicroConverter integrates a 12‑bit, 247 kSPS ADC, dual 12‑bit DACs, an 8052‑compatible MCU core, on‑chip Flash/EE program memory (8 kB) and data memory (640 bytes). It operates from a single 3 V or 5 V supply, consumes as little as 3 mA in normal mode and 15 pA in power‑down, and is housed in a 28‑lead TSSOP package.

Typical applications include optical networking laser‑power control, base‑station power‑amplifier bias, precision instruments, smart sensors and battery‑powered monitoring systems. The device includes on‑chip peripherals such as UART, SPI/I²C, watchdog timer, power‑supply monitor and a temperature sensor.
