ADuC816 is a MicroConverter® with embedded Flash MCU and dual-channel 16-bit ADCs. It features high-resolution Sigma-Delta ADCs, programmable gain front end, and various built-in peripherals.
The ADuC816 is a 16‑bit dual‑channel sigma‑delta ADC microconverter that integrates an 8051‑compatible MCU, on‑chip Flash/EE program and data memory, a 12‑bit DAC, current sources, and various serial interfaces. It is designed for low‑power intelligent sensor applications such as weigh scales, pressure transducers, and 4‑20 mA transmitters.
The device operates from a single 3 V or 5 V supply, consumes as little as 3 mA in normal mode and 20 pA in power‑down, and is packaged in a 52‑lead MQFP. Detailed specifications cover ADC resolution, reference accuracy, timing, power consumption, and peripheral functions.
