About this manual

The AD7952 is a 14‑bit, charge‑redistribution successive approximation register (SAR) analog‑to‑digital converter (ADC) fabricated in Analog Devices' iCMOS high‑voltage process. It offers four programmable input voltage ranges, three sampling modes (warp, normal, impulse), and both parallel and serial (SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/DSP‑compatible) interfaces.

The device operates from –40 °C to +85 °C, provides up to 1 MSPS throughput in warp mode, and includes an internal 5 V reference with low drift. Detailed pin configurations, timing specifications, absolute maximum ratings, and layout guidelines are provided to aid PCB design and system integration.
