ABB wins $24 million mining automation order in China. Hoist solutions combines drives, motors and control for Huainan Group
ABB announced that it has secured a $24 million order from Huainan Mining Group Co. Ltd. to provide mine hoist equipment for eight of the group's coal mines in China. The delivery includes ACS 6000 SD drive systems, synchronous motors, and hoist control systems based on the Industrial IT Extended Automation System 800xA, covering new and replacement brake systems.
