Frequently asked questions

How should the cabinet be grounded for the ACS 600 modules?

Modules must be connected to the cabinet PE busbar with a copper busbar or cable; grounding via fixing screws or the door chassis alone is not sufficient.

What minimum clearance is required around live contact bolts and busbars?

A minimum air clearance of 12.7 mm must be left around all live contact bolts, busbars and any uninsulated live part.
