This document is the operating instructions for the Panasonic DMC-FZ18 digital camera, which introduces the use of the lens adaptor DMW-LA3/ DMW-LA3PP/DMW-LA3E, including how to install and use it.
The DMW‑LA3 lens adaptor allows a 55 mm conversion or close‑up lens to be mounted on a Panasonic DMC‑FZ18 digital camera. The manual explains how to attach and remove the adaptor, lists compatible and incompatible lenses, and provides safety and cleaning guidelines.
Before use, close the flash, turn off the camera, and rotate the adaptor slowly. Remove the lens cap, hood and hood adaptor, then attach the adaptor. Do not overtighten, keep the adaptor clean with a soft dry cloth, and avoid solvents that can damage the colour of the lenses or adaptor.
