HIN231, HIN232, HIN236, HIN237, HIN238, HIN239, HIN240, HIN241 are a family of +5V powered RS-232 transmitters/receivers. They meet all EIA RS-232E and V.28 specifications and are particularly suited for applications where ±12V is not available. These devices require only a single +5V power supply and feature onboard charge pump voltage converters that generate +10V and -10V supplies from the 5V supply. The family of devices offer a wide variety of RS-232 transmitter/receiver combinations to accommodate various applications.

The HEF4013B is a dual D-type flip-flop which features independent set direct (SD), clear direct (CD), clock inputs (CP) and outputs (O, O). Data is accepted when CP is LOW and transferred to the output on the positive-going edge of the clock. The active HIGH asynchronous clear-direct (CD) and set-direct (SD) are independent and override the D or CP inputs. The outputs are buffered for best system performance. Schmitt-trigger action in the clock input makes the circuit highly tolerant to slower clock rise and fall times.

HEF40106B is a six-way inverting Schmitt trigger produced by Philips Semiconductors. This device can trigger at different points for the positive and negative-going input signals. The difference between the positive-going voltage (VP) and the negative-going voltage (VN) is defined as hysteresis voltage (VH). This device may be used for enhanced noise immunity or to “square up” slowly changing waveforms.
