This design note explains the effect of clock jitter on high speed ADCs and uses LTC2209 as an example to show how to select a proper clock to mitigate the effect of clock jitter.

The LTC3785 is a high-efficiency, low-cost, single-ended DC/DC converter controller from Linear Technology. It uses a high-efficiency synchronous boost/buck topology and offers high efficiency, low EMI, low dropout voltage, and low start-up current. It is well-suited for battery-powered handheld applications.

The LTC4268-1 is a solution that integrates a high-power PD interface control with an isolated flyback controller, suitable for high-power 2-pair PoE applications. It provides the same 25k signature detection resistance as standard PoE, and has low inrush current limit and high input current limit.

This design note introduces the features and characteristics of the 6-channel SAR ADC LTC2351-14, including the sampling rate, power consumption, and package. The device is suitable for applications such as 3-phase power line monitoring, portable power line instrumentation, power factor correction, motor control, and data acquisition.

This design note introduces the LTC2953, a pushbutton on/off controller with failsafe voltage monitoring that can be used to control DC/DC converters, power switches, or other circuits. The device can be controlled by a short or long press of the pushbutton, and it also features fault protection that can automatically turn off the power in the event of a system failure.

This design note introduces the LTC®3526L, a 1MHz, 550mA synchronous step-up (boost) converter with a wide input voltage range of 0.7V to 5V and an output voltage range of 1.5V to 5.25V. Housed in a 2mm x 2mm DFN package, the LTC3526L has a typical startup voltage of just 700mV, with operation down to 400mV.

The LTM4608 is a high-density power supply module with a small form factor, lightweight design, high efficiency, and low power dissipation.

The LTC2704 is a highly integrated 16-bit, 4-channel DAC with a wide range of features designed to increase performance and simplify design.

This design note describes a positive-to-negative voltage converter (P2N) that can produce a stable output voltage even with a widely varying input. This topology is particularly useful for battery-powered devices, where the battery voltage can vary significantly over time. The P2N can also be used in other applications where a stable output voltage is required, such as in wireless radios.

The LTC3811 is a high accuracy, high bandwidth, dual output, fixed frequency current mode DC/DC switching regulator controller designed for one of today’s most demanding power supply applications: high current, low voltage processor core supplies.

The LT3580 is a 2A, 42V integrated switch DC/DC converter that can be used in multiple topologies such as boost, SEPIC, flyback, and Cuk. It can use a single resistor to set either positive or negative output, making it easy for designers to use a single component list. The LT3580 also has soft-start, adjustable frequency, synchronization, and a wide input range, all in a small package.

The document introduces the LT3572 device produced by Linear Technology company. This is a dual full-bridge driver for piezo motors. The device uses a 4mm × 4mm QFN package, integrates a step-up regulator and a full-bridge driver, and can output up to 40V of drive voltage from a low input voltage (2.7V to 10V).

The LTC4223 is a dual Hot Swap™ controller that meets the power requirements of the MicroTCA specification. It includes an internal 3.3V auxiliary supply channel and an external N-channel driver for the 12V payload supply. It controls the inrush current for both supplies, provides overcurrent protection, and features an adjustable analog current limit. Additionally, it provides power-good outputs for the two supplies, a fault output, card detection, and independent control of the two supplies.

This document describes the features and performance of the LTM4605 and LTM4607 μModule™ buck-boost regulators. These regulators have features such as high efficiency, compact size, high performance, and exceptional thermal performance.

This design note introduces signal chain noise analysis for RF-to-Digital receivers. It describes the various components in the signal chain, such as mixers, low-noise amplifiers, and demodulators, and how to use them to achieve the best performance.
