User Manual for eZ Programmer THUNDER POWER. eZ Programmer is a program card for brushless motor Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC). It allows users to easily set the programmable values of the ESC.

This application note provides an example of communication using the SPI peripheral of the ST7. It shows an easy way of communicating between a ST7 microcontroller and a M95xxx SPI EEPROM. The purpose is to perform, through SPI, a write in the memory, followed by a read of the written data.

AN969 is an application note about the standard communication interface between a ST7 microcontroller and a PC. It includes the features of SCI communication and baud rate configuration.

This document describes the features of THUNDER POWER's sensorless brushless motor speed controller, including lithium battery balance discharge monitoring and protection design, low output resistance, full protection features, multiple startup modes, configurable throttle range, smooth and accurate speed control, etc.

AN1014 is an application note that describes the low power modes of ST7, and how to reduce power consumption by adjusting the supply voltage and clock frequency

AN910/1104 is an application note from STMicroelectronics about the performance benchmarking of ST7 and ST9 microcontrollers. It describes the test routines, the MCU cores, the benchmark results, and the result analysis.

This is an application note about the semiconductor device manufacturing process.

This document provides information about the concept and importance of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), as well as the natural and man-made sources of electromagnetic radiation. The document also mentions the concepts of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS).

This AN886 application note describes different methods of selecting ROM, FASTROM and OTP in microcontrollers.

This document provides guidelines for designers of microcontroller-based applications so that the optimum level of EMC performances can be achieved.

This document introduces the definition and characteristics of microcontrollers, as well as their role in application control functions. A microcontroller is a highly integrated device that includes most or all of the components needed to perform an application control function.

This document describes the features and characteristics of STMicroelectronics ST62 Family of microcontrollers in driving home appliance motor technology. It includes the three main motor families - Universal, Induction, and Electronically Commutated - as well as the relevant electronic control techniques made possible by the ST62 MCU. The ST62 MCUs, with their wide range of on-chip peripherals, wide supply voltage range, built-in ruggedness, and legendary noise immunity, enable low total system cost and advance electrical motor design. The document also describes basic electrical topologies and their associated power and signal electronics, exploring their strengths and weaknesses through practical examples to illustrate the advantages of electronic control using ST62 MCUs.

This document describes a speed regulator without sensor: the speed sensing is performed indirectly by the ST6220, low-cost 8-bit microcontroller, measuring the motor current. Performance results are given, which are in line with the need of many home appliances.

This application note describes a new multicharger concept which is fully compatible with Li-Ion, NiCd and NiMH. Moving from NiCd/NiMH to Li-Ion technology is easy when battery charging is monitored by a flexible industry standard 8-bit microcontroller.

This article describes the principles and operation of a 7-segment display driven by the ST6-REALIZER. A 7-segment display consists of 7 LEDs arranged in a figure-eight pattern to display alphanumeric characters. The article also discusses hardware considerations and describes how to generate control software using the ST6-REALIZER.
