ST AN1603 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
AN1603 is an application note about ST7 USB DFU PC development kit (DFU-DK), introducing the software architecture, programming interface and usage of the kit.
ST AN1577 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
This application note presents the implementation of a Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) capability in ST7 USB microcontrollers. It follows the DFU class specification defined by the USB Implementers Forum, for reprogramming an application through USB. The DFU principle is particularly well suited to USB applications that require need to be reprogrammed in the field: The same USB connector can be used both for the standard operating mode, and for the reprogramming process. This operation is made possible by the IAP capability featured by most of the ST7 microcontrollers, which allows a FLASH MCU to be reprogrammed by any communication channel. The DFU process, like any other IAP process, is based on the execution of firmware located in Sector 0 of the ST7 Flash memory which manage the Flash operations (erasing and programming) of Sectors 1 and 2. This application note covers then two main aspects: The firmware located in Sector 0, The Interface between the firmware in Sector 0 and the firmware in Sectors 1 & 2. The proposed implementation is demonstrated with 2 different projects: the USB Low-Speed devices Evaluation Kit and the ST7265 Full-Speed 5-in-1 demoboard. In this document these projects are referred to as “LS project” and “FS project”. A basic DFU protocol is also introduced.
ST AN1576 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
The In-Application Programming (IAP) drivers provided by STMicroelectronics allow for flexible communication methods and protocols for reprogramming ST7 FLASH microcontrollers.
ST AN977 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
This document presents guidelines for upgrading from the ST92F120 (0.50µm) to the ST92F124/F150/F250 (0.35µm). Microcontrollers for embedded applications are integrating more peripherals and larger memories. Shrinking the microcontroller die size is necessary to provide the right products with the right features at the right cost. The purpose of this document is to highlight the differences between the ST92F120 (0.50µm) and ST92F124/F150/F250 (0.35µm) microcontrollers and provide guidelines for upgrading the application's software and hardware.

ST AN1575 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
This application note presents various ways of programming an ST7 MCU that has already been soldered on a PCB. This includes using STFLASH Programmer and ST-LINK Utility to program MCUs on a production line or while the MCU is running.
ST AN1530 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
This document describes the features and characteristics of the ST7 microcontroller, specifically the accurate timebase application using the internal RC oscillator.

ST AN1544 APPLICATION NOTE Manual
AN1544 is an application note on how to design applications based on ST10F269. The note contains six main items: the use of external resonator with the on-chip oscillator, startup configuration and necessary precautions, filtering, decoupling and special pins use, recommendations to reduce ADC conversion errors, memory interface, and interfacing with the L4969 CAN interface.
