  • ST AN3078 Application Note

This application note describes how to perform in-application programming using the STM32F10x’s I2C peripheral

  • ST AN3101 Application Note

This application note gives two methods of calibrating the HSI internal RC oscillator.

  • ST AN3102 Application Note

This document introduces the features of the STM32F107xx connectivity line microcontrollers, including a high-quality 10/100 Ethernet peripheral and hardware checksum generation, insertion, and verification for IP, UDP, TCP, and ICMP protocols. The document also provides a demonstration application built on top of the lwIP TCP/IP stack, including a DHCP client, a Hello example based on the Telnet protocol, a TFTP server, a web server, and a Server/Clients example.

  • ST AN3109 Application Note

This document describes the method of building an efficient circular FIFO using STM32F10x's DMA, and provides implementation methods.

  • ST AN3116 Application Note

AN3116 is an application note about STM32 ADC modes, which introduces the features and functions of STM32 ADC, and provides some application examples.

  • ST AN2927 Application Note(1)

This application note describes the RC time constant acquisition principle used in the touch sensing software library.

  • ST AN2927 Application Note

AN2927 application note introduces capacitive touch sensing control technology and introduces ST's touch sensing software library, which can achieve low-cost touch detection function.

  • ST AN2931 Application Note

This application note describes the ADPCM audio firmware codec, and provides a demonstration firmware showing how to play ADPCM files using the high-density STM32F103xx I2S feature with an external DAC.

  • ST AN2945 Application Note

This application note presents the similarities and common features of the STM8S and STM32 product lines, with a view of helping migration from one family to the other.

  • ST AN2946 Application Note

The solar-LED streetlight controller described in this application note is designed to achieve an 85 W solar energy battery charger and a 25 W LED lamp driver. During the daytime, the controller preserves the electricity energy gathered by the solar module (PV module), then stores it in the battery. In the evening, the controller uses the battery energy to power the LED streetlight. When the battery runs out of power after several rainy days, the controller enables the external offline power supply (not included in this system) instead of the battery to power the LED streetlight until the system battery is fully charged again. Due to the clean nature of solar energy, and the highly efficient energy conversion of the PV module and very long operating life of the LED lamp, the solar-LED streetlight controller, compared to conventional streetlights, can save electricity remarkably, thus abating greenhouse gas (e.g. CO2) emission.

  • ST AN2953 Application Note

This document introduces how to upgrade the applications based on STM32F10xxx Firmware Library V2.0.3 (FWLib) to STM32F10xxx Standard Peripheral Library V3.0.0.

  • ST AN2966 Application Note

This application note provides a guide to the selection of the right sampling capacitor (CS) for applications based on STM8T141 and touch sensing library-based capacitive sensors.

  • ST AN2967 Application Note

This application note describes how to implement a driven shield on STM8T and STM8TS capacitive sensors. Driven shields can be used to reduce the influence of metal objects, ground planes or nearby traces, thereby increasing the detection range of capacitive sensors.

  • ST AN2970 Application Note

This document presents the principles of capacitive sensing and charge transfer used in STMicroelectronics STM8T and STM8TS capacitive sensors. All devices can be configured in touch or proximity sensing.

  • ST AN2979 Application Note

This document describes how to build a simple ADC using the STM8L101xx comparator.
