The ST26C32AB is a ST company's CMOS quad 3-state differential line receiver. It features low power consumption, ±0.2V sensitivity, typical propagation delay of 19ns, typical input hysteresis of 60mV, meets EIA standard RS-422, RS-423 requirements, and can be used to connect system buses.

The STLVDS31B is a quad differential line drivers that implements the electrical characteristics of low voltage differential signaling (LVDS). This signaling technique lowers the output voltage levels of 5 V differential standard levels (such as TIA/EIA-422B) to reduce the power, increase the switching speeds and allows operations with a 3.3 V supply rail. Any of the four current mode drivers will deliver a minimum differential output voltage magnitude of 247 mV into a 100 Ω load when enabled.

ST3222E has a proprietary low dropout transmitter output stage providing true RS-232 performance from 3 to 5 V supplies with a dual charge pump. The charge pump requires only four small 0.1 μF external capacitors for operation form 3 V supply. The device has two receivers and two drivers. The ST3222E features a 1 mA shutdown mode that reduces power consumption and extends battery life in portable systems. Its receivers can remain active in shutdown mode, allowing external devices such as modems to be monitored using only 1 mA supply current. The device is guaranteed to run at data rates of 250 Kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels. ST3241EB and ST3241EC are ±15 kV ESD protected 3 to 5.5 V, 400 kbps RS-232 transceivers with auto-power-down. The features include ESD protection for RS-232 I/O pins, 1 µA supply current, minimum guaranteed data rate of 250 kbps, guaranteed 6 V/ms slew rate range, guaranteed mouse drive ability, 0.1 µF external capacitors, and compliance with EIA/TIA-232 specifications.

The ST1480AB/ST1480AC is a 3.3V powered, 15kV ESD protected, up to 12 Mbps true RS-485/RS-422 transceiver.
