MAXIM DS21354DK T1 Single-Chip Transceiver Design Kit Daughter Card handbook
DS21354DK T1 Single-Chip Transceiver Design Kit Daughter Card is an evaluation board launched by Maxim company for evaluating the DS21354 chip. The board includes a single-chip transceiver (SCT), transformers, termination resistors, configuration switches, line protection circuitry, network connectors, and a motherboard interface.
MAXIM 3.3V DS21352 5V DS21552 T1 Single-Chip Transceivers handbook
The DS21352/552 T1 single-chip transceiver contains all of the necessary functions for connection to T1 lines whether they are DS1 long haul or DSX–1 short haul. The clock recovery circuitry automatically adjusts to T1 lines from 0 feet to over 6000 feet in length. The device can generate both DSX–1 line build outs as well as CSU line build-outs of -7.5dB, -15dB, and -22.5dB. The onboard jitter attenuator (selectable to either 32 bits or 128 bit) can eliminate the jitter caused by long-distance transmission, ensuring the quality of the received signal.
MAXIM DS2149DK/DS21349DK T1/J1 Line Interface Unit Design Kit handbook
The DS2149DK/DS21349DK is a fully integrated design kit for the DS2149 and the DS21349 T1/J1 line interface units (LIUs). It contains the necessary circuitry to evaluate the device in all operation modes, including running the device in hardware and software mode.
MAXIM DS21349 3.3V T1/J1 Line Interface Unit handbook
The DS21349 is a fully integrated Line Interface Unit (LIU) for long-haul or short-haul T1 applications over twisted-pair installations. It interfaces to two twisted-pair lines—one pair for transmit and one pair for receive through an appropriate network interface. The device can be configured for control through software or hardware mode. It provides a precise, crystal-less jitter attenuator that can be placed in either the transmit or receive path.
MAXIM DS2127 handbook
The DS2127 Ultra3 LVD/SE SCSI terminator provides low-voltage differential (LVD)/single-ended (SE) terminations for 14 SCSI lines. Through the voltage on the DIFF_CAP pin, the device detects the types of drivers on the bus. If the device is connected in an LVD-only bus, the DS2127 provides LVD termination. If any single-ended devices are connected to the bus, the DS2127 uses SE termination. If any high-voltage differential (HVD) devices are connected to the bus, the DS2127 isolates itself from the SCSI bus. The mode change has a built-in delay that is determined by an integrated SPI-3 mode change filter/delay. The terminating resistors can also be disconnected from the bus by asserting the ISO pin. For the LVD termination, the DS2127 provides 14 precisely trimmed resistors. Each resistor is biased with two current sources to a fail-safe state. For SE termination, the DS2127 provides 14 precision 110Ω resistors and one regulator for active-negation bias.
MAXIM DS2125 handbook
The DS2125 Ultra3 LVD/SE SCSI terminator is both a low-voltage differential (LVD) and single-ended (SE) terminator. The multimode operation enables the designer to implement LVD in current products while allowing the end user SE backward compatibility with legacy devices. If the device is connected in an LVD-only bus, the DS2125 uses LVD termination. If any SE devices are connected to the bus, the DS2125 uses SE termination, which is accomplished automatically inside the part by sensing the voltage on the SCSI bus DIFFSENS line. For the LVD termination, the DS2125 integrates two current sources with 15 precision resistor strings. For the SE termination, one regulator and 15 precision 110 resistors are used. Two DS2125 terminators are needed for a wide SCSI bus.
MAXIM DS2120 handbook
DS2120 is a SCSI bus terminator produced by Maxim Semiconductor. It supports Ultra3, Ultra160, Ultra320, Ultra2 SCSI standards, and LVD protocol. It supports automatic selection of LVD termination, zero temperature coefficient termination resistors, low power-down capacitance, built-in mode change filter/delay, and on-board thermal shutdown circuitry.
MAXIM DS2119M handbook
The DS2119M is a fully compliant LVD/SE SCSI terminator with SCSI SPI-2, SPI-3, SPI-4, Ultra160, and Ultra320 support. It provides multimode low-voltage differential/single-ended (LVD/SE) termination for nine signal-line pairs and has automatic LVD or SE termination selection. The terminator is SCSI-bus hot-plug compatible and features onboard thermal-shutdown circuitry. It fully supports actively negated SE SCSI signals. Three DS2119M terminators are needed for a wide SCSI bus.

DS2070W 3.3V single-piece 16Mb nonvolatile SRAM
MAXIM DS2129 LVD SCSI 27-Line Regulator handbook
The DS2129 is a triple-output voltage regulator for 27-line, low-voltage-differential (LVD) SCSI termination for SPI-2 and SPI-3 applications using LVD termination networks. The device provides reference voltages and bias currents for LVD-termination resistor pi (π) networks. With a pi network (475Ω, 121Ω, 475Ω), the DS2129 meets the common-mode bias, differential bias, and termination-impedance requirements of SPI-2 (Ultra2) and SPI-3 (Ultra3). The device also provides a 1.3V output for DIFFSENSE signaling, and includes pro- tection features such as thermal shutdown and active current limiting.
MAXIM DS2045W DS2045W 3.3V Single-Piece 1Mb Nonvolatile SRAM handbook
The DS2045W is a 1Mb reflowable nonvolatile (NV) SRAM, consisting of a static RAM (SRAM), an NV controller, and an internal rechargeable manganese lithium (ML) battery. It is housed in a surface-mount module with a 256-ball BGA footprint. When VCC is applied to the module, it recharges the ML battery, powers the SRAM from the external power source, and allows the contents of the SRAM to be modified. When VCC is powered down or out of tolerance, the controller write-protects the SRAM’s contents and powers the SRAM from the battery. The DS2045W also contains a power-supply monitor output, RST, which can be used as a CPU supervisor for a microprocessor.

MAXIM DS2045L DS2045L 3.3V Single-Piece 1Mb Nonvolatile SRAM handbook
The DS2045L is a 1Mb reflowable nonvolatile (NV) SRAM, which consists of a static RAM (SRAM), an NV controller, and an internal rechargeable manganese lithium (ML) battery. These components are encased in a surface-mount module with a 256-ball BGA footprint. Whenever VCC is applied to the module, it recharges the ML battery, powers the SRAM from the external power source, and allows the contents of the SRAM to be modified. When VCC is powered down or out-of-tolerance, the controller write-protects the SRAM’s contents and powers the SRAM from the battery. The DS2045L also contains a power-supply monitor output, RST, which can be used as a CPU supervisor for a microprocessor.

These components are encased in a surface-mount module with a 256-ball BGA footprint. Whenever VCC is applied to the module, it recharges the ML battery, powers the SRAM from the external power source, and allows the contents of the SRAM to be modified. When VCC is powered down or out of tolerance, the controller write-protects the SRAM's contents and powers the SRAM from the battery. Two versions of the DS2030 are available, which provide either a 5% or 10% power-monitoring trip point. The DS2030 also contains a power-supply monitor output, RST, which can be used as a CPU supervisor for a microprocessor.
