The MAX9680 is a 3V video amplifier with internal gain and filter in SC70, optimized for portable video applications.

The MAX4444/MAX4445 differential line receivers offer unparalleled high-speed, low-distortion performance. Using a three op amp instrumentation amplifier architecture, these ICs have symmetrical differential inputs and a single-ended output. They operate from ±5V supplies and are capable of driving a 100Ω load to ±3.7V. The MAX4444 has an internally set closed-loop gain of +2V/V, while the MAX4445 is compensated for gains of +2V/V or greater, set by an external resistor. A low-power enable mode reduces current consumption to 3.5mA. Using current-feedback techniques, the MAX4444/MAX4445 achieve a 550MHz bandwidth while maintaining up to a 5000V/µs slew rate. Excellent differential gain/phase and noise specifications make these amplifiers ideal for a wide variety of video and RF signal-processing applications.

MAX4361/MAX4362/MAX4363 are a family of high-performance ADSL drivers and drivers/receivers ideal for the upstream transmit path and the downstream receive path of customer premise equipment. These devices operate from a single 5V supply and deliver up to 12.5dBm average line power for DMT modulated sig- nals, meeting the requirements of full-rate ADSL. Spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) at full output power is typically -75dBC at 100kHz. The MAX4361 is a differential IN/differential OUT driver with a fixed gain of 3.1V/V. The MAX4362 is a dual amplifier with shutdown intended for use as a differen- tial IN/differential OUT driver with gain set with external resistors. The MAX4363 is a quad amplifier with shut- down intended for use as a differential IN/differential OUT driver/receiver combination with gain set with external resistors. The MAX4361 is offered in a space-saving 8-pin µMAX package.

The MAX4214/MAX4215/MAX4217/MAX4219/MAX4222 are precision, closed-loop, gain of +2 (or -1) buffers featuring high slew rates, high output current drive, and low differential gain and phase error. They operate with a single 3.15V to 11V supply or with ±1.575V to ±5.5V dual supplies. The input common-mode voltage range extends 100mV beyond the negative power-supply rail, and the output swings Rail-to-Rail®. These devices require only 5.5mA of quiescent supply current while achieving a 230MHz -3dB bandwidth and a 600V/µs slew rate. In addition, the MAX4215/ MAX4219 have a disable feature that reduces the sup- ply current to 400µA per buffer. Input voltage noise is only 10nV/√Hz, and input current noise is only 1.3pA/√Hz. This buffer family is ideal for low-power/low- voltage applications requiring wide bandwidth, such as video, communications, and instrumentation systems. For space-sensitive applications, the MAX4214 comes in a miniature 5-pin SOT23 package.

The MAX4014/MAX4017/MAX4019/MAX4022 are precision, closed-loop, gain of +2 (or -1) buffers featuring high slew rates, high output current drive, and low differential gain and phase errors. These single-supply devices operate from +3.15V to +11V, or from ±1.575V to ±5.5V dual supplies. The input voltage range extends 100mV beyond the negative supply rail and the outputs swing Rail-to-Rail®. These devices require only 5.5mA of quiescent supply current while achieving a 200MHz -3dB bandwidth and a 600V/µs slew rate. In addition, the MAX4019 has a disable feature that reduces the supply current to 400µA. Input voltage noise for these parts is only 10nV/√Hz and input current noise is only 1.3pA/√Hz. This buffer family is ideal for low-power/low-voltage applications that require wide bandwidth, such as video, communications, and instrumentation systems. For space-sensitive applications, the MAX4014 comes in a tiny 5-pin SOT23 package.

The MAX4090 is a 3V/5V, 6dB video buffer with sync-tip clamp and low-power shutdown mode. It is designed for driving DC-coupled, 150Ω back-terminated video loads in portable video applications such as digital still cameras, portable DVD players, digital camcorders, PDAs, video-enabled cell phones, portable game systems, and notebook computers. The input clamp positions the video waveform at the output and allows the MAX4090 to be used as a DC-coupled output driver. It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and consumes only 6.5mA of supply current. The low-power shutdown mode reduces the supply current to 150nA, making it ideal for low-voltage, battery-powered video applications. The MAX4090 is available in tiny SOT23, SC70, and μDFN packages and is specified over the extended (-40°C to +85°C) and automotive (-40°C to +125°C) temperature ranges.

The MAX9504A/MAX9504B are 3V/5V, ground-sensing amplifiers with a fixed gain of 6dB that provide high output current while consuming only 10nA of current in shutdown mode. The MAX9504A/MAX9504B are ideal for amplifying DC-coupled video inputs from current digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The output can drive two DC-coupled 150Ω back-terminated video loads in portable media players, security cameras, and automotive video applications. The MAX9504B features an internal 160mV input offset to prevent output sync tip clipping when the input signal is close to ground. The MAX9504A/MAX9504B have -3dB large-signal bandwidth of 42MHz and -3dB small-signal bandwidth of 47MHz. The MAX9504A/MAX9504B operate from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply and consume only 5mA of supply current. The low-power shutdown mode reduces supply current to 10nA, making the MAX9504A/MAX9504B ideal for low-voltage, battery-powered video applications. The MAX9504A/MAX9504B are available in tiny 6-pin µDFN (2mm x 2mm) and 6-pin SOT23 packages, and are specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range.

The MAX4180 family of current-feedback amplifiers combines high-speed performance, low distortion, and excellent video specifications with ultra-low-power operation in miniature packages. They operate from ±2.25V to ±5.5V dual supplies, or from a single +5V supply. They require only 1mA of supply current per amplifier while delivering up to ±60mA of output current drive. The MAX4180/MAX4182/MAX4183/MAX4186 are compensated for applications with a closed-loop gain of +2 (6dB) or greater, and provide a -3dB bandwidth of 240MHz and a 0.1dB bandwidth of 70MHz. The MAX4181/MAX4184/MAX4185/MAX4187 are compensated for applications with a +1 (0dB) or greater gain, and provide a -3dB bandwidth of 270MHz and a 0.1dB bandwidth of 60MHz. The MAX4180–MAX4187 feature 0.08%/0.03° differential gain and phase errors, a 20ns settling time to 0.1%, and a 450V/µs slew rate, making them ideal for high-performance video applications. The MAX4180/MAX4181/MAX4183/MAX4185 have a low-power shutdown mode that reduces power-supply current to 135µA and places the outputs in a high-impedance state. This feature makes them ideal for multiplexing applications. The single MAX4180/MAX4181 are offered in space-saving 6-pin SOT23 packages.

The MAX4223-MAX4228 current-feedback amplifiers combine ultra-high-speed performance, low distortion, and excellent video specifications with low-power operation. They are ideal for professional video applications, with excellent differential gain and phase errors. The low-power shutdown mode makes them suitable for portable and battery-powered applications.

The MAX4012/MAX4016/MAX4018/MAX4020 series of operational amplifiers are unity-gain-stable devices that combine high-speed performance with Rail-to-Rail outputs, low cost and high speed.

The MAX4450 single and MAX4451 dual op amps are unity-gain-stable devices that combine high-speed performance with rail-to-rail outputs. Both devices operate from a +4.5V to +11V single supply or from ±2.25V to ±5.5V dual supplies. The common-mode input voltage range extends beyond the negative power-supply rail (ground in single-supply applications). The MAX4450/MAX4451 require only 6.5mA of quiescent supply current per op amp while achieving a 210MHz -3dB bandwidth and a 485V/µs slew rate. Both devices are an excellent solution in low-power/low-voltage systems that require wide bandwidth, such as video, communications, and instrumentation. The MAX4450 is available in the ultra-small 5-pin SC70 package, while the MAX4451 is available in space-saving 8-pin SOT23 and SO packages.
