NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR -DS90UR241/DS90UR124 5-43 MHz DC-Balanced 24-Bit LVDS Serializer Deserializer handbook

The DS90UR241/DS90UR124 is a 5-43MHz DC-balanced 24-bit LVDS serializer and deserializer. The device translates a 24-bit parallel bus into a fully transparent data/control LVDS serial stream with embedded clock information, eliminating the skew problems between parallel data and clock paths. It saves system cost by narrowing data paths, which in turn reduce PCB layers, cable width, and connector size and pins.

NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR - LM4308 Mobile Pixel Link Two (MPL-2) 18-bit CPU Display Interface Master/Slave handbook

The LM4308 device adapts a 18-bit CPU style display interfaces to a MPL-2 SLVS differential serial link for displays. Two chip selects support a main and sub display up to and beyond 640 x 480 pixels. A mode pin configures the device as a Master (MST) or Slave (SLV). Both WRITE and READ operations are supported. CPU interface widths below 18-bits are supported by tieing unused inputs to a static level. The differential line drivers and receivers conform to the JEDEC SLVS Standard. When noise is picked up as common-mode, it is rejected by the receivers. This is further enhanced with the 50 Ohm output impedance of the drivers. The 100 Ohm termination is integrated into the receivers. Data integrity is insured with a 5-bit CRC field. CRC checking is done for both WRITE and READ operations. An Error (ERR) pin reports the occurrence of an error. A Write Only mode is also provided. The interconnect is reduced from 23 signals to only 4 active signals with the LM4308 chipset easing flex interconnect design, size constraints and cost. A low power sleep state entered when the PD* inputs are driven low.

NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR -LM3410 PowerWise 525kHz/1.6MHz Constant Current Boost SEPIC LED Driver with Internal Compensation handbook

LM3410 is a high frequency, high performance LED driver from Texas Instruments, available in 5 pin SOT23, 6 pin LLP and 8 pin eMSOP packages. It features an internal 170 mΩ NMOS switch that can drive 2.8A typical peak currents. The switching frequency can be internally set to either 525 kHz or 1.60 MHz, allowing for the use of extremely small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors. Even though the operating frequency is high, efficiencies up to 88% are easy to achieve. The LM3410 also features an ultra-low standby current of 80 nA. It utilizes current-mode control and internal compensation to provide high-performance over a wide range of operating conditions. Additional features include dimming, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown.

NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR LM7341 Manual

The LM7341 is a RRIO input and output amplifier in a small SOT-23 package with a wide supply voltage and temperature range. The amplifier has a 4.6 MHz gain bandwidth and a 1.9 volt per microsecond slew rate, and draws 0.75 mA of supply current at no load. The LM7341 is tested at -40°C, 125°C and 25°C with modern automatic test equipment. Detailed performance specifications at 2.7V, ±5V, and ±15V and over a wide temperature range make the LM7341 a good choice for automotive, industrial, and other demanding applications. The LM7341's input common mode range is greater than RRIO, with a minimum 76 dB of common mode rejection at ±15V, making it a good choice for both high side and low side sensing applications. The LM7341's performance is consistent over a wide voltage range, making the part useful for applications where the supply voltage can change, such as automotive electrical systems and battery powered electronics. The LM7341 uses a small SOT23-5 package, which takes up little board space, and can be placed near signal sources to reduce noise pickup.

NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR -LMK03000 Family Precision Clock Conditioner with Integrated VCO General Description

The LMK03000 family of precision clock conditioners combines the functions of jitter cleaning/reconditioning, multiplication, and distribution of a reference clock. The devices integrate a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), a high performance Integer-N Phase Locked Loop (PLL), a partially integrated loop filter, and up to eight outputs in various LVDS and LVPECL combinations. The VCO output is optionally accessible on the Fout port. Internally, the VCO output goes through a VCO Divider to feed the various clock distribution blocks. Each clock distribution block includes a programmable divider, a phase synchronization circuit, a programmable delay, a clock output mux, and an LVDS or LVPECL output buffer. This allows multiple integer-related and phase-adjusted copies of the reference to be distributed to eight system components. The clock conditioners come in a 48-pin LLP package and are footprint compatible with other clocking devices in the same family.
