The Sipex SP3223 and SP3243 are intelligent RS-232 transceiver solutions designed for portable or hand-held applications, such as notebook computers and PDAs. These devices utilize an internal high-efficiency charge-pump power supply that requires only 0.1µF capacitors in 3.3V operation, allowing compliant RS-232 performance from a single +3.3V to +5.0V power supply.
