Photologic OPB960/OPB970 Series Optical Switches Datasheet
The OPB960 and OPB970 series provide optimum flexibility for design engineers. Users can choose mounting configuration, aperture width, shell material (opaque or IR‑transmissive), and TTL output type (totem‑pole or open‑collector) with optional inverter or buffer polarity. All devices include a built‑in hysteresis amplifier for added stability.
Electrical specifications include supply voltages of 4.75‑5.25 V, input diode forward voltage of 1.7 V, reverse current of 100 µA, and output voltage levels of 0.4 V (low) and 2.4 V (high). The switches operate from –40 °C to +70 °C and can be stored from –40 °C to +85 °C. They feature .020" square leads for PCB mounting and are housed in opaque or IR‑transmissive plastic packages.
