About this manual

The LTC5510 is a high linearity mixer designed for applications requiring very wide input bandwidth, low distortion, and low LO leakage. It features a double-balanced active mixer with an input buffer and a high-speed LO amplifier, optimized for use with 1:1 transmissionline baluns to allow very wideband impedance matching.

The device supports both up- and down-conversion in wideband systems. The LO can be driven differentially or single-ended, requiring only 0dBm of LO power to achieve excellent distortion and noise performance while reducing external drive circuit requirements. It offers low LO leakage, minimizing the need for output filtering.
