About this manual

The TP4059 is a complete single‑cell Li‑ion battery charger that provides constant‑current/constant‑voltage operation, programmable charging current up to 600 mA, and built‑in reverse‑polarity protection. It can be powered from a USB port or an external adapter up to 9 V and includes thermal regulation to limit current when the chip temperature rises.

Typical applications include charging seats, power banks, cellular phones, PDAs, MP3 players and Bluetooth devices. The device is supplied in a 6‑pin SOT‑23‑6 package and requires only a few external components (PROG resistor, input and battery bypass capacitors). Pin functions such as CHRG, STDBY and PROG provide status indication and allow manual shutdown or re‑start of the charging cycle. This manual is written in Chinese.
