About this manual

This manual provides step-by-step instructions for extracting genomic DNA from FFPE tissue samples using the AT3013-01/02 kit. It includes protocols for both non-toxic and xylene-based wax removal, sample preparation, enzymatic digestion, column-based purification, and DNA elution. Safety precautions and troubleshooting tips are included for common issues like low yield or RNA contamination.

The kit contains buffers, enzymes, and spin columns for DNA extraction, with optional reagents like RNaseA for RNA removal. It is designed for downstream applications including PCR, NGS, SNP, STR analysis, and pharmacogenomics. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove RNA contamination?

Add 2–5 μL RNaseA (100 mg/mL) to the digest solution after 90°C de-crosslinking, mix, and incubate at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Can I shorten incubation times to speed up the process?

Yes, incubation times can be reduced: 56°C lysis to 30 min, 90°C denaturation to 30 min. DNA yield may decrease slightly but is still suitable for most applications.
