The manual provides safety precautions, lubrication, adjustment, installation and operation instructions for the JUKI MOJ/MOK-2500N sewing machine.
The manual begins with safety and pre‑operation guidelines, such as not holding the cloth plate cover while carrying the machine, checking the oil gauge, and always running the handwheel clockwise. It also warns against operating the machine in reverse direction and outlines basic cautions when working near moving parts.
Detailed sections cover lubrication points, installation of the frame support plate, motor pulley and V‑belt setup, adjustment of the top feed dog (vertical stroke, pressure, differential feed ratio), presser foot handling, needle installation, threading procedures, and conversion between MOJ‑2500N and MOK‑2500N models. A specifications table lists key performance data for the series.
| Maximum sewing speed | 6,000 s.p.m. |
|---|---|
| Needle gauge | 2.0 mm |
| Overedge width | 10 mm |
| Differential feed ratio (Gathering stitch) | 1:1.76 |
| Lubricating oil (max.) | 110.6 |
Resupply oil whenever the red color in the oil gauge is not seen, and apply a few drops of oil to the needle bar guide and upper looper guide before first use.
The handwheel must turn clockwise as viewed from the handwheel side; never run the machine in reverse direction.
Loosen the setscrew of the top feed adjustor, move the adjustor up to increase or down to decrease the stroke, then securely tighten the setscrew.
