This manual provides step‑by‑step instructions for restoring BECO PFplus membrane filter cartridges, covering routine rinses, hot‑water cleaning and special…
About this manual
The restoration process begins with a cold‑water rinse in the direction of flow for at least 2 minutes, followed by a hot‑water rinse (80 °C) for at least 5 minutes and a 15‑30 minute circulation at a reverse pressure of 50 kPa (0.5 bar). After hot‑water treatment, the cartridge can be left in the housing overnight and rinsed again in the morning.
When routine rinses are insufficient, special cleaning using a dilute NaOH solution (< 0.5 % NaOH, pH < 12) at 50 °C and a 0.5 % hydrogen peroxide solution is recommended. The cartridge is then neutralised with a 0.5‑1 % citric acid solution and thoroughly flushed with cold water until the pH is neutral. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions
How long should the cold‑water rinse be?
The cartridge should be rinsed with cold water in the direction of flow for at least 2 minutes.
What temperature is required for the hot‑water cleaning step?
Hot water at 80 °C is used, and the cartridge is rinsed for at least 5 minutes.
What concentration of NaOH is used for special cleaning?
A solution containing less than 0.5 % NaOH (pH < 12) is applied.
What reverse pressure must be maintained during rinsing?
A reverse pressure of 50 kPa (0.5 bar) is required.
