BECO PFplus Filter Cartridge Restoration Manual
The restoration process begins with a cold‑water rinse in the direction of flow for at least 2 minutes, followed by a hot‑water rinse (80 °C) for at least 5 minutes and a 15‑30 minute circulation at a reverse pressure of 50 kPa (0.5 bar). After hot‑water treatment, the cartridge can be left in the housing overnight and rinsed again in the morning.
When routine rinses are insufficient, special cleaning using a dilute NaOH solution (< 0.5 % NaOH, pH < 12) at 50 °C and a 0.5 % hydrogen peroxide solution is recommended. The cartridge is then neutralised with a 0.5‑1 % citric acid solution and thoroughly flushed with cold water until the pH is neutral. This manual is written in Chinese.
