Technical manual for the ARGO-HYTOS PRM4-06 proportional directional valve, covering description, specifications, flow data and dimensions.
The PRM4-06 proportional directional valve consists of a cast‑iron housing, a special control spool, proportional solenoids and an optional position sensor. It can be equipped with an integrated electronic control box or used with external electronics via DIN 43 650 and G4W1F connectors. The valve provides ±90° solenoid stroke and supports internal, external or combined feedback loops, with status indicated by green (OK) and red (fault) LEDs.
Technical data include a nominal size of 06 mm, maximum operating pressures of 320 bar (ports P, A, B) and 210 bar (port T), nominal flows of 15 L/min and 30 L/min at 10 bar, hysteresis below 6 % (open loop) and 0.5 % (closed loop), and an IP65 enclosure. Supply voltage is 24 V DC ±20 % and the valve is available with various connector configurations and optional external feedback options.
