About this manual

The Argo Battery Isolator uses Schottky diodes to allow two or more batteries to be charged from a single alternator while keeping the batteries electrically separate. A compensation diode can be added to raise the alternator output voltage and offset the diode voltage drop.

The guide details the installation steps: disconnect negative battery cables, connect the alternator to the isolator input, attach battery positive leads to the outputs, optionally wire the energize terminal to the engine run/stop switch, and connect the common negative bus. Cable length should be kept short and cross‑section at least 2.5 mm². Optional connections for voltage sensing are also described.
