About this manual

AR-1571 is a certified standard reference material for Clostridium perfringens (gas‑forming, encapsulated). It is supplied as a small colored gel disc inside a 2 mL HDPE tube, with cotton and desiccant layers that are not part of the analysis. The material must be stored frozen at -10 °C to -20 °C to maintain microbial activity, uncertainty, and stability.

Before testing, the gel disc is rehydrated in sterile PBS. The sample is removed from the freezer, equilibrated at room temperature (15‑30 °C) for 10‑15 minutes, then transferred to 90 mL sterile PBS (pH 7.2). After gentle mixing and a further 10‑15 minutes at room temperature, the solution is inverted ten times to ensure complete dissolution. Testing must be completed within 30 minutes of rehydration. This manual is written in Chinese.
