This manual describes the GYS TRIMIG 205-4S, a wheeled, ventilated synergic semi-automatic welding machine for MIG or MAG welding. According to the document, it is recommended for welding steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and for brazing high-strength steels with CuSi and CuAl wires, and it runs on a 400 V three-phase supply with a 16 A CEE plug.
The text covers electrical supply requirements, a description of the machine, mounting of wire spools and torches, gas connection and spool selection. It explains the control panel modes: NORMAL (2T), DELAY (stitch spot), SPOT, plus MANUAL and SYNERGIC wire feed settings, and the optional spool gun. This manual is written in French.
| Power supply | 400 V three-phase |
|---|---|
| Power switch | 7-position selector |
| Power cable length | 3 m |
| Wire feed speed range | 1 to 15 m/minute |
| Gas bottle support | max one 4 m³ bottle |
| Spool support | Ø 200/300 mm |
| Steel/stainless wire diameters | 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.0 mm |
| Aluminum wire diameter | 0.8 mm |
| Required supply protection | 10 A breaker and 30 mA differential |
A specific shielding gas of argon + CO2 (Ar+CO2) is used, with a flow of 8 to 12 L/min depending on conditions.
Pure argon (Ar) is required with a flow of 15 to 25 L/min, plus specific aluminum rollers, a special aluminum torch and a special 0.8 contact tip (ref. 041059).
Place the wire speed potentiometer in the middle of the OPTIMAL SYNERGIC zone, then select the wire type, wire diameter and power position; the machine determines the optimal wire speed.
Press the Type button for 5 seconds until the keypad goes off, then within 5 seconds select Delay with the mode button for CO2 100%; the change is saved after validation.
