IRCON Modline 5 infrared thermometers are compact, NEMA‑4 rated sensors with smart features for harsh industrial processes.
About this manual
The Modline 5 series provides non‑contact temperature measurement for a wide range of high‑temperature industrial applications. Sensors are housed in a sealed stainless‑steel NEMA 4 (IP65) enclosure, are less than 5.7 cm in diameter, and offer options such as Dirty Window Detector, laser sighting, and built‑in calibration.
Configuration is flexible: analog 0–20 mA output, bi‑directional RS‑485 digital I/O, and optional POI power boxes or terminal strip plates. A PC‑based Modview Configuration Software and a 10‑inch Multi‑Sensor Interface enable remote setup, monitoring, and data logging for up to twelve sensors.
