The TMCM‑3214 and TMCM‑3215 are three‑axis stepper motor controller/driver modules offering CAN, RS485 and USB (Micro‑USB) interfaces (TMCM‑3215 also provides EtherCAT™). They include four analog/digital inputs, four digital outputs, a brake chopper unit, and support up to 6.5 A RMS motor current per axis. The modules feature real‑time motion profile calculation, microstepping up to 256 steps, and integrated protection features such as stallGuard2™ and coolStep™.
Mechanically, the boards measure approximately 280 mm × 100 mm with a maximum height of 21 mm (17 mm above the PCB without connectors) and provide 12 M3 mounting holes. The connector layout includes RS485, CAN, USB, power, motor, encoder, and REF/HOME interfaces, using Molex MicroFit™ and RJ45 connectors.
