This manual describes the SIXpack 2 6-axis stepper motor controller/driver module in brief, including motor selection, power supply, wiring, setting, etc.
The IDX 4803 and IDX 7505 are stepper motor drivers from TRINAMIC with a maximum current of 3.5A and 5.0A, supporting RS485 and step-direction interfaces
TMC211 is a micro-stepping stepper motor controller/driver with a LIN interface and RAM and OTP memory. It allows up to four-bit microstepping and a maximum coil current of 800mA. It communicates with a host via LIN and, together with an inexpensive microcontroller, forms a complete motion control system.
The TMC222 is a combined micro-stepping stepper motor motion controller and driver with RAM and OTP memory. The RAM or OTP memory is used to store motor parameters and configuration settings. The TMC222 allows up to four bit of micro stepping and a coil current of up to 800 mA. After initialization it performs all time critical tasks autonomously based on target positions and velocity parameters. Communications to a host takes place via a two wire serial interface. Together with an inexpensive micro controller the TMC222 forms a complete motion control system.
TMC428 is a three-phase stepper motor controller that controls three 2-phase stepper motors. It can select a 6-bit micro-step resolution based on target positions and velocities and can operate independently without a microcontroller
