The T835H and T850H are ST's 8 A high temperature Snubberless™ Triacs, suitable for high power density or universal motor applications such as vacuum cleaner and washing machine drum motor. These Triacs provide a very high switching capability up to junction temperatures of 150 °C. Compared to traditional Triac, the heatsink can be reduced according to the high performance at given junction temperatures.
This document is a datasheet for the T835H and T850H series of 8A Snubberless Triacs manufactured by STMicroelectronics. These devices are specifically designed for high power density or universal motor applications, such as those found in vacuum cleaners and washing machine drum motors. Key features include a maximum junction temperature of 150°C, low thermal resistance achieved through clip bonding, and very high 3-quadrant commutation capability.
