The P011xx is a high-sensitivity, high-immunity SCR from STMicroelectronics. It has voltage ratings of 400 V and 600 V and can operate with trigger currents in the range of 0.5 µA to 25 µA. It is suitable for applications where the available gate current is limited, such as ground fault circuit interruptors, pilot circuits in solid state relays, standby mode power supplies, smoke and alarm detectors.
This document describes the P011xx series of sensitive high immunity Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs). These devices are designed for applications where available gate current is limited, such as ground fault circuit interruptors, pilot circuits in solid state relays, and smoke detectors. The series offers voltage capabilities up to 600 V and is available in through-hole (TO-92) or surface-mount (SOT-223) packages.
| Max On-state current (RMS) | 0.8 A |
|---|---|
| Max Average on-state current | 0.5 A |
| Voltage capability | 400 and 600 V |
| Storage junction temperature range | - 40 to + 150 °C |
| Operating junction temperature range | - 40 to + 125 °C |
| Max. Junction to case thermal resistance (TO-92) | 80 °C/W |
| Max. Junction to ambient thermal resistance (SOT-223) | 60 °C/W |
The series is suitable for ground fault circuit interruptors, pilot circuits in solid state relays, standby mode power supplies, and smoke and alarm detectors.
The devices are available in through-hole (TO-92) or surface-mount (SOT-223) packages.
The maximum RMS on-state current is 0.8 A for the TO-92 package and 0.5 A for the SOT-223 package.
