This document describes the features and characteristics of an automotive power Schottky rectifier. The product has very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses, low forward voltage drop, and surface mount miniature packages. It is suitable for switched mode power supplies and high frequency DC to DC converters, and is commonly used in low voltage, high frequency inverters, free wheeling, and polarity protection for automotive applications.
