The air-filter should be cleaned at least once every two weeks, or more often if local conditions warrant.
Frosting is most likely when the outside temperature drops to approximately 21°C — 24°C (low 70s).
Turn the MAIN CONTROL SWITCH to the 'HIGH FAN' position to defrost the coil.
Extension cords should not be used unless necessary, in which case a UL listed 3-wire grounding type rated for 15 amps is required.
