The STA533WF is a 18-volt, 3-amp, quad power half-bridge. It features Multipower BCD technology, low input/output pulse width distortion, 200-mΩ RdsON complementary DMOS output stage, CMOS-compatible logic inputs, thermal protection, thermal warning output, undervoltage protection, and short-circuit protection.
The STA533WF is a monolithic quad half-bridge stage in multipower BCD technology designed for the output stage of a stereo Full Flexible Amplifier (FFX). It can deliver 10 W x 4 channels into 4-Q loads with 10% THD at Voc = 18 V in single-ended configuration, or 20 W + 20 W into 8-Q loads in BTL configuration. The device is available in a 36-pin PowerSSO package with exposed pad down.
The chip includes integrated bridge drivers, high-efficiency MOSFET outputs, and protection circuitry for overcurrent and thermal overload conditions. It supports both FFX mode using damped ternary modulation and binary logic-controlled PWM signals. Features include CMOS-compatible logic inputs, undervoltage lockout with automatic recovery, and a thermal warning output.
