About this manual

The VND5025LAK-E is a monolithic double channel high side driver designed for automotive applications, utilizing STMicroelectronics VIPower MOS-5 technology. It is intended for driving resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground and is suitable for driving LEDs. The device integrates an analog current sense function that delivers a current proportional to the load current when the CS_DIS pin is driven low or left open.

The chip includes comprehensive protection features such as undervoltage shutdown, overvoltage clamp, load current limitation, thermal shutdown, and protection against loss of ground or supply voltage. It also features active in-rush current management by power limitation and very low standby current. The device is available in the PowerSSO-24 package and complies with the 2002/95/EC European directive.
