This document is a product bulletin for the TRW OP161SL series of GaAs plastic infrared emitting diodes. The series includes types OP161SL, OP161SLD, OP161SLC, OP161SLB, and OP161SLA. These devices are mounted in clear plastic, perpendicular to and centered on the mechanical axis of the lens, and are mechanically and spectrally matched to the OP501 phototransistor series.
