About this manual

The FL-101 is a FlashLINK JTAG programming cable designed for the PSD and UPSD microcontroller families. It connects to a PC or notebook through a parallel port to enable In-System Programming (ISP) on application boards.

The device supports IEEE 1149.1 JTAG signals as well as additional signals like TERR and TSTAT to reduce programming time. A single cable assembly supports both 3.3 V and 5 V target devices operating from 2.7 V to 5.5 V without manual configuration. It includes a Flying Lead cable for adapting to various connectors and a Loop Test cable for validating the PC parallel port.
