The TDA7706 is a highly integrated tuner for AM/FM car-radio applications, featuring FM, AM, and weather band reception. It has a fully integrated VCO for worldwide tuning, a high-performance PLL for fast RDS system, integrated AM-LNA and PIN diodes, automatic self-alignment for FM front-end pre-selection filter and image rejection, integrated IF filters with high selectivity, dynamic range, and adaptive bandwidth control. It also offers drift-free Digital-IF signal processing with high performance, RDS demodulation with group and block synchronization, a high-performance stereo decoder with noise-blanker, a digital interface for HD Radio™ reception with digital audio blending, a fully programmable DSP core, I2C bus-controlled, I2S input/output digital audio interfaces, and operates on a single 5V supply. It comes in an LQFP64 package.
