This document provides step-by-step instructions for properly loading the Kangaroo Joey™ enteral feeding pump. Users must follow specific procedures to fill or spike the feed container, insert the valve into the left pocket ensuring it is fully seated, and wrap the tubing around the rotor before inserting the retainer into the right pocket without overstretching.
The initial fluid line in the feeding set container must be 6 inches above the top of the feeding pump when initiating the feeding cycle.
To turn the pump on, press the power button located in the lower right-hand corner.
