AD73422 is a low-power CMOS analog front end with DSP microcomputer.
The AD73422 integrates a dual analog front end (AFE) with two 16-bit A/D converters and two 16-bit D/A converters, alongside a DSP engine based on the ADSP-2100 architecture. It is designed for high-speed numeric processing applications such as speech enhancement, recognition, and synthesis in telephony systems.
The device features an on-chip reference voltage allowing single supply operation from +3 V to 3.6 V. It includes up to 80K bytes of on-chip memory (depending on the specific variant) and is available in a 119-ball PBGA package. The AFE supports programmable input/output gains and sample rates, while the DSP engine offers single-cycle instruction execution.
