This document details the known bugs and improvements of AD1835, a codec with 2 ADCs, 8 DACs, 96kHz sample rate, and 24-bit precision.
The AD1835 is a high-performance, single-chip codec featuring four stereo DACs and one stereo ADC. It supports sample rates up to 96 kHz (with 192 kHz available on one DAC) and word lengths of 16, 20, or 24 bits. The device includes multibit sigma-delta modulators with patented technology to reduce idle tones and noise floor, as well as data-directed scrambling DACs that are least sensitive to jitter.
| ADC Resolution | 24 Bits |

The device supports up to 96 kHz sample rates, with 192 kHz available on one DAC.
Yes, it features a separate supply pin for its digital interface that allows interfacing to devices using 3.3 V power supplies.
The ADC gain error is specified as +5%.
