About this manual

The Analog Devices AD9560 is a high-speed, digitally programmable pulse width modulator (PWM) designed for applications such as laser printers, digital copiers, and optical disk drives. It provides pixel-by-pixel control with an output pulse width proportional to an 8-bit DATA input value.

The device supports up to a 50 MHz clock rate and features on-chip autocalibration to compensate for lot-to-lot variations in timing circuits. It offers complete flexibility in pulse placement (center, leading, or trailing edge) and is available in 28-pin P-DIP and SOIC packages operating over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.
