This document describes the features and characteristics of the audio power amplifier model SLES094A, including 50W output power per channel, 95dB dynamic range, low distortion rate, etc.
The Texas Instruments TAS5112A is a high-performance, integrated stereo digital amplifier power stage designed to drive 6-Ω speakers at up to 50W per channel. It incorporates TI's PurePath Digital™ technology and is used with a digital audio PWM processor (TAS50XX) and a simple passive demodulation filter to deliver high-quality, high-efficiency, true-digital audio amplification. The device features a self-protecting design with undervoltage, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection, as well as an internal gate drive supply voltage regulator.
| Output Power (BTL) | 50 W per Channel |
|---|---|
| Dynamic Range | 95-dB |
| THD+N (1 W RMS) | Less Than 0.1% |
| THD+N (50 W RMS) | Less Than 0.2% |
| Package | 56-pin TSSOP |
The device delivers up to 50 W per channel in BTL mode into a 6-Ω load.
The device delivers 50 W per channel in bridge-tied load (BTL) mode into a 6-Ω load.
The typical THD+N is less than 0.2% when the output is 50 W RMS into a 6-Ω load.
