TAS3208 is a digital audio processor produced by TI, which has a 32-bit data path and a 76-bit accumulator. It supports 6 synchronous serial audio inputs and 4 synchronous serial audio outputs.
The TAS3208 is an audio System on Chip (SOC) designed for digital TV audio systems and mini/micro component applications. It features a programmable audio DSP that preserves high-quality audio using a 48-bit data path, 28-bit filter coefficients, and a single-cycle 28 times 48-bit multiplier. The device is composed of seven functional blocks, including clock and serial data interfaces, analog input and output, an 8051 WARP controller, an audio DSP, power supply, and internal references.
