This manual introduces the Extech CT100 Network Cable Tester System, including the continuity, open/short circuit and wire cross (reversal) tests. The system can test “F” type coaxial and RJ45 terminated cables meeting the following wiring standards: • 10Base-T • EIA/TIA 568B • AT&T258A • Token Ring.
The Extech CT100 Network Cable Tester system consists of a Transmitter and a Receiver designed to automatically test coaxial and RJ45 terminated cables. It performs tests for continuity, open/short circuits, and wire crosses (reversals) according to standards such as 10Base-T, EIA/TIA 568B, AT&T258A, and Token Ring.

The transmitter requires two 'AAA' 1.5V batteries.
