Freescale Semiconductor 18730 handbook
Update: 29 September, 2023
The MPC18730 Power Management IC (PMIC) is a device that regulates five independent output voltages from either a single cell Li-Ion or a single cell Ni-MH or dry cell. It includes 2 DC-DC converters and 3 low drop out (LDO) linear regulators. The output voltage for each of the 5 output voltages is set independently through a 3-wire serial interface. The PMIC also features a versatile start-up control system with multiple wakeup, sleep, standby, and reset modes to minimize power consumption for portable equipment. The DC-DC converters can be configured as buck regulators in Li-Ion applications and as boost and buck-boost regulators in Ni-MH or dry cell applications. The output voltage ranges for the DC-DC converters are 1.613 V to 3.2 V at up to 120 mA, and 0.805 V to 1.5 V up to 100 mA through the serial interface.
